Take the hassle out of cooking ribs by using your slow cooker. With minimal prep, you’ll have delicious fall-off-the-bone ribs when you get home from work!

Ingredients

4 pounds pork baby back ribs
salt and pepper, to taste
1 large onion, coarsely chopped
1 cup Barbecue Sauce (I prefer Bulls-Eye)
1/4 cup maple syrup (optional)
1/2 medium onion, diced

Directions

In a small bowl, mix the barbecue sauce and maple syrup, if you’re using any. Dice the onion and add it to the slow cooker.

Rub the ribs with the salt and pepper, and add them to the slow cooker. Pour the sauce mixture over top, turning the ribs to coat.

Cook on low for 7-9 hours, until the ribs are cooked through and the meat is falling off the bones.
