The freshest chicken produces the best results. Always take care with the thorough cleaning and cooking of chicken. Salmonella is so potent a bacteria that it can be used as a bio-weapon. Salmonella is always a possibility with poorly stored or cooked chicken. Here is a guide on chicken food safety from the USDA.
Make or Break Baked Chicken Drumsticks, with a little help from fast food condiment packages
Gathering together all the fast food condiment packets available, divide out the honey, soy sauce, and plum sauce. Open and squeeze all of them into a bowl. Add two additional packets of ketchup (or three tablespoons). Approximately a cup and a half of mixed gooeyness will be necessary to coat the chicken. Extra honey, plum and soy sauce can be added to fill out the amount. Ideally, there should be a combination of honey, soy, plum and a little ketchup.
Add 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder and 3 tablespoons vegetable oil.
Mix all ingredients together. Coat each drumstick in the mixture.
Place in a baking pan with sides at 375 degrees for sixty minutes.
