You can treat your cracks and crevices near your home with spider repellent, or for a more natural deterrent you can use caulking and caulk them.

You can try that plug in device, but I have not heard of them actually working. It could be worth a try if you want to try everything before actually calling in an exterminator.

You will never get rid of spiders in your home completely, but hopefully this will give you some ideas of how to rid your home of most spiders and keep them to a minimum.
