The window must be deep enough for window blind hardware; typically, a depth of two inches is ideal. Next, using a tape measure, measure the inside height of the window. Be sure to write down the measurements of the left, right, and middle of the window to ensure you select the correct side and shape blinds. If you are purchasing blinds for more than one window, be sure to measure each window separately. Though they many look the same, there could be a slight difference in length or width. Using these measurements, you can order the blinds from a manufacturer or purchase them at any hardware store, home décor store, or many other retailers.
