Barbecue Boneless Pork Ribs

This recipe will result in perfect boneless ribs with a thick barbecue sauce. It’s great served with potato salad, fresh vegetables, and cornbread. You can share this recipe, or keep as your little secret!

Ingredients

  • 2 – 4 lbs boneless pork ribs
  • Dried onion flakes
  • Garlic salt
  • Butter
  • 18 ounce bottle of barbecue sauce

1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.

2. While the oven is preheating, you can start preparing the boneless pork ribs. Rinse the ribs, and pat them dry with a paper towel. Rub them with butter, and sprinkle them with garlic salt and onion flakes. Be sure to coat the top, bottom, and all sides of the meat.

3. Cover the bottom of a shallow baking pan or roaster with about 1/8 inch of water. Place the ribs in the pan in a single layer, and seal the pan tightly with foil or a lid.

4. Bake the ribs for two hours. By this time, the ribs should be tender.

5. Remove the pan from the oven and reduce the heat to 275 degrees F.

6. Drain all grease and liquid from the pan, and cover the ribs thoroughly with the bottle of barbecue sauce.

7. Return the ribs to the oven, and cook them for another forty five minutes to an hour.

Boneless Pork Ribs and Gravy

Some people may shy away from barbecue flavor. Kids sometimes refuse to eat anything with barbecue sauce. This recipe for boneless pork ribs is geared towards all those barbecue haters. The gravy can either be served on the side or poured over the ribs.

Ingredients

  • 2 – 4 lbs boneless pork ribs
  • Garlic salt
  • Oregano
  • Parsley
  • Paprika
  • Butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped mushrooms
  • Cornstarch

1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.

2. While the oven is preheating, you can start preparing your boneless pork ribs. Rinse the ribs, and pat them dry with a paper towel. Rub them with butter, and sprinkle them with garlic salt, oregano, parsley, and paprika. Be sure to coat the top, bottom, and all sides of the meat.

3. Put the chopped onion and mushroom in a baking dish or roaster. Place the boneless pork ribs in the pan in a single layer, and add about a cup of water. Seal the pan tightly with foil or a lid.

4. Bake the ribs for three hours.

5. Remove the pan from the oven, and remove the ribs from the pan. Place them on a serving platter, and cover them with foil to keep them warm.

Gravy

1. Drain all but about two tablespoons of the broth and drippings from the pan, and set it aside. Place the pan on the stove on medium high heat.

2. Mix together two tablespoons of cornstarch with water to make a thin paste. The amount of water needed is usually around 1/4 cup.

3. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the pan and blend with a whisk or spoon. Stir this mixture until it begins to thicken.

4. As it thickens, slowly add the broth that you set aside. Alternate adding a little broth and stirring.

5. After the gravy reaches the desired consistency, continue stirring for about five more minutes.
