Highway 89 in Utah and Arizona

I've been going on a road trip and took some pictures of Highway 89. Really some amazing scenery along the drive.

Sorry for the side view orientation, next time I'll edit them in gimp so they are upright.

Lucky you!  It looks like the road trip you took was indeed very scenic.  We usually travel along I40 when we travel through Arizona, so the scenery is similar yet a bit different.  The mountains are just missing one thing!  That's greenery!

 ;D These pictures prove there's very few places that have been left untouched by mankind and how insane humans are!  Think of how much effort and how much risk people took just to put that highway through that type of terrain, let alone what they went through to put in the pipes, towers, and power lines there.

 :)) It would be nice to see the photos upright, but the side view does make the photos interesting too!
