Here is a post from Leanne:

There's nothing quite as delicious as a chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven. This recipe is a classic with a perfect homemade taste!

Ingredients:

1 cup butter

1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

1-1/2 cups whole wheat flour

2-1/3 cups quick oats

2 teaspoons baking soda

pinch of salt

1-1/2 cups chocolate chips

1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:

Cream the butter and brown sugar, then beat in the eggs and vanilla.  Add flour, rolled oats, baking soda, and salt.  Mix thoroughly.

Add and mix in the chocolate chips and nuts.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes.
